Setting preferences



Numerous program settings are stored in the Adobe GoLive preference file, located inside the GoLive directory (Windows) and the Preferences folder in your System folder (Mac OS). The settings stored in this file include display options, options for importing images, options for activating modules, options for selecting default Web browsers that you can launch from Adobe GoLive, spelling checker options, and more. Most of these options are set in the Preferences dialog box.

To set options in the Preferences dialog box:

1 Choose Edit > Preferences.

2 Click to select an icon or name in the left pane of the Preferences dialog box. If needed, first click a symbol next to an icon to display a list of names below the icon.

3 Select options in the right pane of the Preferences dialog box. To find an explanation of a particular preferences option or set of options, refer to the index.

4 Click OK.
